Kaweah Equipment Co reminds you to always stay safe when working up high.

BEFORE YOU GET THAT BOOM LIFT STARTED TODAY, TAKE CARE TO KEEP SAFE WITH THESE HELPFUL TIPS:

  •  Remember before all else to inspect your work site and lift equipment for safety before operation begins.
    • If any leaks, cracks, deformations or malfunctions are discovered on the unit, avoid operating at all costs!
  • Aerial lifts such as Articulated Booms are generally safer than ladders, but are not without their own risks to be aware of!
    • Over 26 workers are killed each year from aerial lift accidents—nearly 50% of which are either related to electrocution, or falls.
    • Always operate in proper conjunction with power lines, terrain & weather.
    • Operators should always be aware of their load capacity, center of gravity, fall prevention tethering, and surrounding obstacles & structures.
  • Proper shutdown and charging procedures are just as important as pre-operation inspections!

Take your team safety to the next level.

If you're interested in further training your equipment operators on safe practices & procedures, Kaweah Equipment offers an OSHA-approved Certified Safety Training course on this topic, which covers everything we mentioned today and more.

We will happily send one of our Certified Safety Trainers straight to your location, who will guide students through a graded classroom module as well as a real-life driving and/or operation test. Upon completion, persons enrolled will each be issued a unique certificate & ID badge indicating their safety certification, which is valid for 3 full years.
